At Les Produits Verriers International (IGP) Inc., we provide a wide range of patterned and textured glass designed to combine natural light diffusion with privacy. Each design creates a unique architectural effect, suitable for residential and commercial projects such as entry doors, partitions, bathrooms, and storefronts.
Manufacturing Patterned glass is produced by pressing molten glass between engraved rollers, embossing the design onto one surface. This process ensures consistent quality and a distinctive decorative finish.
Since some textures are directional, please specify the required orientation (vertical or horizontal) when ordering. For panels that are not perfectly square, we recommend including a diagram with precise measurements and the intended orientation of the relief.
Not all patterned glass can be tempered due to variations in relief. However, to meet Canadian safety standards, several models can be laminated on demand, offering higher strength and compliance for sensitive areas such as doors, showers, and partitions.
Popular examples include: Clear Vision Matelux (Low-Iron Satin Etch), offering a bright satin finish with low iron content; Grey Matelux, a modern grey float glass with a high-quality satin finish; Georgian Wired Cast, produced with a 13 mm steel mesh embedded during rolling, resulting in a reinforced patterned glass (Grade B safety rating).
